Everything you need to know about FieldPins
Do I need a new account?
Sign in with Google is required. We request basic profile and Drive to create an /FieldPins/ folder in your My Drive for sync.
Can I start offline before sign-in?
No. First sign-in requires connectivity. After you sign in once, you can capture online or offline.
Where is my data stored?
On-device while offline (IndexedDB). Sync uploads to /My Drive/FieldPins/<ProjectName>__<projectId>/.
Is there auto-sync?
No. Sync is manual in MVP so crews stay in control in the field.
How many photos per pin?
Up to four photos per pin, resized client-side to max 1080p JPEG (~0.75 quality).
What formats are exported?
A JSON file (project.json) plus floorplan and photo assets in your Drive folders.
